Executive Order - "Are You An Essential Business?"

Based on Governor Holcomb’s Executive Order, Miami County businesses should self-assess themselves to determine if they meet one or more of the criteria listed in the Executive Order to qualify as an essential business.  If they determine their business qualifies as “essential”, it is recommended the business issue a letter to each employee stating that the business they work for is considered essential under the guidelines of the Governor’s Executive Order.  The employee should then carry that letter with them when traveling to and from work in case they are questioned. The full order can be read here.

Thank you for your cooperation.
